HPM leak tester tool kit (30-35mm carbs)

Includes 0-15 psi pressure guage
Adapter for 30-35mm intake boots
Steel exhaust block off plate with attatched sesling gasket
Block off plate hardware

Will fit most 2 strokes with 2 post exhaust studs such as Blaster and Polaris 200cc-400cc.

Remove carb and insert guage to intake manifold.
Remove exhaust and install block off plate.
Using a bicycle or hand pump, pump to 6psi.
The guage should not drop for 6 minutes.
If the guage drops that means you have a leak.
A leak can be a hole in the engine, a crack, bad seals, bad gaskets, head not torqued, warped head, ect.
You can use warm soapy water to help find the leak.
In a 2 stroke, an air leak makes the engine run lean which then melts down the piston and cylinder prematurely and very quickly.
You can leak test after every build, after doing a service, amd before and after the season.
