Formerly made by KOR, these were designed Ken Oconnor Racing. He handed us the torch in 2019 and we started mass producing these.
Why is this needed and what does this kit do?
A Blaster rear suspension is very unique. It uses a 12mm UPPER shoulder bolt and a 12mm LOWER FLOATING PIN. Most ATVs use a dog bone rear link and use a 10mm UPPER and LOWER BOLT!
What this kit does, is adapts that. The upper bushings not only space out the large gap that no other ATV has, but it reduces the 12mm frame holes to take a 10mm bolt that the other ATVs upper shocks use. Then for the bottom, since most ATVs are a 10mm bottom bolt, the required drill bit will drill the shock to EXACTLY 12MM.
NO OTHER SIZE EQUIVALENT, MUST BE A 12MM DRILL BIT.
The seingarm shock tabs AND the swingarm pin are 12mm and require a 12mm pin, and a 12mm drilled shock. Any other size will create TOO much play.
A PIN must be used, never a bolt. A Blaster uses a straight swingarm that must move freely “floating” or it will bind up.
This mod is a DIY, it is up to you to perform it properly. Each shock will fit differently. Most shocks will have a “forked” bottom with ample gap between swingarm tabs, this will be normal, the fork will be self supported from movement.
